Tragic collision in the Svitavy district: Three dead, two injured

The consequences of the accident are extremely serious. All three passengers in the Dacia Duster died — men aged 77, 82 and 88. Foreign nationals were traveling in the Volkswagen. Both were injured and taken to hospital — one was transported by rescue helicopter, the other by ambulance. Police gave the Volkswagen driver a breath test for alcohol, which was negative. The circumstances and causes of the accident are still being investigated by police.

The tragedy occurred at around 2 p.m., and the scene was closed for several hours. The police are asking the public to contact line 158 if they have any information about the course of this accident.
